Tokyo Marui AKX GBB

The Tokyo Marui AKX GBB is a modern tactical evolution of the classic AKM platform, combining Tokyo Marui’s renowned gas blowback performance with contemporary styling and enhanced modularity. Featuring a sleek, fully black anodized finish and robust aluminium construction, this rifle delivers both impressive durability and a realistic feel. Weighing approximately 3,550 grams, it offers excellent balance and authentic handling during gameplay.

Designed for comfort, the AKX features an ergonomically shaped pistol grip with textured side panels and deep horizontal grooves on the front and back to provide a secure hold. The slim-profile handguard offers a comfortable gripping surface while reducing bulk, making the rifle easy to control in a variety of shooting positions.

The handguard is equipped with multiple M-LOK mounting slots, allowing users to attach a wide range of tactical accessories such as weapon lights, foregrips, lasers, or other compatible equipment. The 8.7-inch outer barrel is fitted with a 14mm CCW thread and comes with a lightweight aluminium muzzle brake featuring three side ports. The muzzle device is secured with a locking pin, allowing for quick removal or replacement when needed.

Out of the box, the AKX includes a set of modern iron sights. The rear collapsible aperture sight folds down when using optics, while the front aperture sight features an adjustable vertical post that can be fine-tuned for both windage and elevation. A full-length Weaver/Picatinny top rail extends from the receiver across the handguard, providing ample space for mounting red dot sights, scopes, or other optical accessories.

The controls remain intuitive and faithful to the AK platform. A fire selector on the right side allows users to switch between safe, semi-automatic, and fully automatic firing modes. The ambidextrous magazine release, positioned at the front of the trigger guard, enables fast and convenient magazine changes. The durable aluminium gas magazine holds 35 rounds of 6mm BBs, and the rifle is equipped with an adjustable hop-up system for optimizing range and accuracy. Additionally, a rotary tension adjustment knob located just above the stock helps eliminate receiver play by tightening the upper receiver when necessary.

The stock is constructed entirely from high-strength polymer, including the ergonomically contoured butt pad, which features deep horizontal grooves to improve shoulder grip during use. For added versatility, the stock can be folded to reduce the rifle’s overall length or removed completely, thanks to its mounting system that attaches directly to a compact vertical Weaver/Picatinny rail.
